Studio Visit with Günther Uecker

As part of our November 2023 workshop “The State of Experience, or: ars activa,” we visited Günther Uecker at his studio in Düsseldorf. After two intensive days of presentations and discussions, during which Uecker’s actions and other works were examined in the wider context of the artistic act, it was a special opportunity to see some of these works in person and to talk to the artist about his work.
