Annual Review

Over the past year, our organically grown dual institute, GUI | IUG, has become widely recognized as a contemporary funding institution well beyond the city of Schwerin and its surrounding region. With great pleasure, we were able to support numerous projects, bring together scholars and artists, and engage with them in research, discussion, and practice. In the coming year, we look forward to continuing this path, working with our fellows, developing new publication projects, and strengthening international and national partnerships with universities, archives, museums, art academies, and political institutions.

Thank you for a year of valuable encounters and shared ideas. We look forward to many more in 2026.
