His work is examined here as a mediator between worlds and media. One focus lies on his print cycle <em>Homage to Hafez<\/em>, 2015, in which the artist enters into an intercultural dialogue with the poetry of the 14th-century Persian poet Hafez. In doing so, Uecker works on linguistic, medial, and cultural levels.
